What we collect
The free formula generator works anonymously. We record a hashed form of your IP address only to enforce a fair per-day usage limit; we do not use it to identify you. If you sign in, your identity comes from Google single sign-on. We never collect or store passwords.
Signing in and account security
Uploading and analyzing a file requires signing in with Google. When you sign in for the first time, we store a hashed (not the raw) form of your IP address and, if available, a hashed form of your browser's basic device signal, as anti-abuse metadata to help detect accounts created only to bypass our free usage limits. This is minimal, short retention, never sold or shared, and never used to identify or track you individually; it is captured once at signup and is not updated on later logins.
Your spreadsheet data
Your file is read and parsed in your own browser. The raw file, and its rows, never leave your device: they are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. To produce an answer, only a small summary is sent to our AI provider, the column names, a few sample cell values, and computed statistics, never your full data. We never sell your data or share it with third parties beyond that AI processing, and the AI provider does not train on it. The analysis we produce (the answer and its summary) is stored according to your plan's retention and can be deleted; the raw file itself is never stored.
AI processing
Formula requests are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. We send only the text of your request, not your identity.
